2023 Field Day
Celebrate 13 years of epic competition with Red, Yellow, Blue, and Purple teams in thrilling events like tug-o-war, giant twister, dodgeball, and an eating contest! Live Art Gallery
The Soulshine Live Art Gallery is a showcase of remarkable and inventive artists, architects, and creators. The mission is to curate premium artwork that captivates the audience with an immersive visual experience while also offering it for sale.
Although this year’s artists have yet to be announced, we know for sure it will be an incredible experience yet again. If you want the chance to be an artist, you have until April 15th to get your application in.
2023 Summer Camp Workshops
For decades, Summer Camp has been a place of creativity and innovative learning, from building musical instruments to creating biodiesel fuel and exploring human-powered energy sources. Whether it’s experimenting with art or engineering do-it-yourself projects, there is always something exciting happening.
These hands-on learning workshops help make the festival fun for everyone. The three main types of workshops include hands-on art workshops, body movement workshops, and experiential hands-on workshops. Summer Camp has yet to release this year’s workshop lineup, but you have until April 10th to pitch them your idea for a workshop.
SOULPATCH
SOULPATCH is an ever-evolving interactive garden that showcases multiple cultivation strategies and eco-friendly construction techniques. What started out as engaging instructional programming for attendees of the Summer Camp Music Festival has since become its own living organism, adapting to its environment with each passing season.
Make sure to mark your calendars for 2023 as the festival will be introducing exciting new collaborations, inviting visitors to explore interactive demonstrations on urban gardening, permaculture, natural building, sustainable design, and regenerative agriculture.
Kids Camp
Kids Camp is an excellent place for campers to get together and have fun. All sorts of activities, like jewelry making, face painting, water play, arts and crafts projects, and hair wraps will help kids express their creativity during this exciting weekend.
At past gatherings, Kids Camp has featured the incredible music of Mr. Dave, an awesome drum workshop with Greg, Dean Franzen’s impressive juggling performances, Ruthee from The Unique Twist and his extraordinary balloon artistry, as well as Fun-on-the-Run’s thrilling water wars.
A few fun kids activities you can expect this years include an interactive drum circle, pottery making with The Mad Potter of Peoria, and Tammy’s Kid Yoga.
